WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) – Wrightsville Beach Fire Department has released its quarterly report.

The Wrightsville Beach Fire Department responded to 36 fire alarms and 105 emergency medical calls between April and June of this year. The Fire Department reported only $1,000 of damage when a car caught fire.

During the month of April the WBFD completed their semiannual inspection of all 223 hydrants and found no major problems.
