Airlie Gardens announces 2012 concert lineup | Arts & Culture

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Airlie Gardens announced its entertainment lineup for the 2012 concert series recently.

The concerts will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday from May through September, according to a news release from New Hanover County.

Tickets will cost $8 for adults, $2 for children and free for Airlie members. Here is the schedule:

• May 4: L Shape Lot (Folk rock)
• May 18: Da Howlies (Hawaiian)
• June 1: The 360 Degrees (Dance)
• June 15: Grenoldo Frazier (Jazz)
• July 6: The Imitations (Dance)
• July 20: Bibis Ellison (Indie/pop/soul)
• August 3: The Mako Band (Dance)
• August 17: Shine (Soft rock)
• September 7: Stardust (Jazz)
• September 21: The Imitations (Dance)

All general admission parking is offsite and free shuttles will be provided from the old Cinema 6 property at 5335 Oleander Drive, according to a news release.
