NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Three New Hanover County Public Library branches will soon be open on Sundays, according to a news release.
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., readers can stop by the Main, Northeast and Myrtle Grove branches, starting this weekend.
Sunday hours were cut in 2009 during county budget cuts.
This Sunday, to celebrate the additional hours, visitors will be treated to refreshments from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
