Grand opening scheduled for new Lumina Station boutique | Business

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A grand opening will be held soon for a new independent boutique that’s set to open in Lumina Station.

According to a news release from owner Tanya Fermin-Jones, Fancy Belle’s Boutique, which offers handmade hair accessories such as bows, headbands and hair clips, will be hosting its grand opening Friday, Feb. 22 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1904 Eastwood Rd.

Fancy Belle’s will be opening at Tickled Pink in Lumina Station, which is described as a specialized retail store that allows local artists and designers to showcase their talents.

Visitors who attend the grand opening will enjoy gifts and hors d’oeuvres.

Fermin-Jones was inspired to go into business when her daughter was born prematurely.

“When Braelynn was born early, it was difficult to find any hair accessories that would fit her,” she said in a statement. “So I decided to take the initiative and try to make them myself. I was shocked at how many people started to ask me where I bought Braelynn's accessories.”
