C.A.R.E. hosts silent auction in March | Community Spirit

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – C.A.R.E. (Coastal Animal Rescue Effort) is hosting its first annual Silent Auction on Friday, March 23. This event starts at 7 p.m. and is located at the Terraces on Sir Tyler in Wilmington. Music and food will be provided and a cash bar will be serving drinks.

According to a press release,  the money raised will help expand services to more animals in need and meet their potential goal of building the first and only veterinarian-run, no-kill animal shelter in the area.

C.A.R.E. is a non-profit organization that rescues and fosters cats and dogs and provides treatment to animals in need. C.A.R.E. says their primary goal is, “to treat needy animals and find them loving new homes.”
