NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Don’t have plans this weekend? If you’re a New Hanover County resident, you can take advantage of some local attractions as part of NHC Residents’ Day, which is held the first Sunday of each month.
As part of Residents’ Day, locals can visit Airlie Gardens, the Cape Fear Museum and the NHC Arboretum for free, according to the county’s website.
Airlie Gardens is open Monday – Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Cape Fear Museum is open Monday – Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
The Arboretum is open daily from 7 a.m. to sundown.
