Wrightsville Beach to host annual Pier 2 Pier Swim | Community Spirit

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) – A swim race will soon be held at Wrightsville Beach, according to SetUpEvents.com.

The eighth annual Pier 2 Pier Swim will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. and is described as a “1.7 mile point to point open water (ocean) swim race with prevailing current.”

The swim is held between the Johnny Mercer and Crystal piers.

If you register before Wednesday, the cost is $40 per person. After that time, the costs increases to $55 per person as long as you register before the day of the swim.
