Sign up now for Turkey Trot 5K | Community Spirit

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) – If you’re planning on eating a lot this Thanksgiving Day, keep in mind that you can go ahead and burn off some calories that same morning before chowing down by participating in this year’s 8th annual Turkey Trot 5K.

It will be held at Wrightsville Beach Park. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., and the start time is set for 8:30 a.m.

If you sign up before Monday, the cost is $25; to sign up the day of the race will cost $30.

The race will benefit Habitat for Humanity.

Walkers, who will walk around the John Nesbitt Loop, can sign up for $15
