Sign up now for Cold Stroke Classic | Community Spirit

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) – Signups for the fifth annual Cold Stroke Classic, in which participants on surfboards use paddles to move forward along the Intracoastal Waterway, are taking place now.

The race will be held Saturday, Jan. 19 at Wrightsville Beach.

Those participating in the elite division will race a total of seven miles, while those in the recreational division will complete three-and-a-half miles.

The cost for those in the elite division is $65, and for those in the recreational division, $45.
