Town holds meet and greet session with new manager
WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) - The Town of Wrightsivlle Beach will hold a reception Thursday to welcome new manager Tim Owens.
Owens was recently selected by the Board of Alderman and will begin in the position Tuesday.
Owens resigned from his position in Carolina Beach in November, along with the mayor and a councilman. After being in the position for more than six years, the Wrightsville Beach mayor said Owens was chosen for his experience with coastal communities.
Residents can attend a meet and greet session with Owens January 10 at 5:00 p.m. inside the Town Hall Conference Room.
