Pi Kappa Alpha hosts polar plunge event to benefit Pretty in Pink Foundation

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The UNCW chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity will host its 4th annual Polar Plunge this weekend.

Money raised from the event will benefit the Pretty in Pink Foundation, which provides lifesaving treatment for those locally affected by breast cancer.

The event will take place Sunday, February 24, 1:00 p.m. at Wrightsville Beach access 29 (Stone Street). There is a $5 signup fee.

Last year, the fraternity raised over $1,500 for Autism Speaks.
