WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The city is giving people an opportunity to talk about restoring a couple of area creeks.
The city will host a public meeting on Thursday, June 28 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. to get citizen input on the Hewletts and Bradley Creek Watershed Restoration Plan.
The meeting will be held at the New Hanover County Executive Development Center on Military Cutoff Road near the Northeast Public Library.
The goal of the plan is to restore water quality and shellfish harvesting to the creeks and ultimately remove them from the state's Impaired Waters list. To view the plan, click here.
