WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) — The state Division of Environmental Health lifted a water quality swimming advisory for a public access in Wrightsville Beach.
The advisory was posted in Banks Channel off Waynick Boulevard between Snyder and Seashore Streets in Wrightsville Beach on Wednesday, May 18. The site now reportedly shows bacteria levels below the state and federal recreational water quality standards.
The sign advising against swimming, skiing or otherwise coming in contact with the water has been removed.
