WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC - (WECT) - Tar Heel fans will want to get their hands on a copy of the next issue of Wrightsville Beach Magazine. That's because their beloved men's basketball coach is on the cover.

Roy Williams sat down with Pat Bradford, publisher and editor of the magazine, during the Memorial Day holiday. Williams has a vacation home at Wrightsville Beach.

"I really enjoy walking the Loop; I enjoy walking the beach. I can let my guard down a little. It doesn't bother me when people come up and say hello or ask for an autograph or a picture," Williams told Bradford.

Bradford also talked to the popular coach about what it means to be a Tar Heel.

"A Tar Heel is one who cares about the right things and who has feelings, and that feeling of that magical little village in Chapel Hill."

In the article, Williams also spoke about Wilmington native and former UNC star Michael Jordan, and what he calls the biggest heart he's ever seen.

Williams' interview in Wrightsville Beach Magazine hits newsstands Thursday.
