Wilmington woman reports back from London games | News

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Dr. Sonya Young from Elite Chiropractic in Landfall traveled to London for the chance to work with the athletes during the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

She will be popping and stretching the athletes for 8 days and she is corresponding with WECT through email -- sending back photos, videos and behind the scenes updates.

As a former elite gymnast, Young said in an interview that she was most looking forward to the women's team finals. She said the O2 Arena was enormous and as impressive as the "Fab Five" women's US gymnasts.

Young added that everything was exciting and the only issue she has really noticed is the pervading empty seat problem Great Britain officials are working to fix.
