WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) – Officials in Wrightsville Beach haven’t done much to prepare for the potential impacts of Hurricane Sandy.
Town officials have tied down the trash cans and recycle bins on the beach, but nothing else has been done.
According to interim town manager Tony Wilson, officials will meet appropriate actions if the weather conditions worsen.
Workers at the Blockade Runner are concerned the rain and wind from Hurricane Sandy could have an impact on two major events that are scheduled at the hotel this weekend.
