Car vs. moped crash throws moped driver to ground | News

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A car-versus-moped crash took place Saturday night on Military Cutoff Road.

A car reportedly pulled out from Landfall Center onto military cutoff when it struck the moped driver. The driver of the moped, named John, was thrown to the ground and was complaining of leg pain.

New Hanover County Sheriff's officials and EMS officials were on scene.

While there was a lot of blood at the scene, dispatch officials say that the only injuries reported are minor ones.
