UPDATE: Felony warrants taken out against accused bigamist
News
Kelly Butler married Sgt. Timothy Pennock last May in Wrightsville Beach, while the active duty Army soldier was home on leave.

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - We have an update on a story we first reported in October on WECT.com and Fox Wilmington.

The Wrightsville Beach Police Department has taken out felony warrants for Timothy Pennock - the Army Sergeant accused of bigamy by a Wilmington woman who married him while he was home on leave last spring.

Kelly Butler later found out she wasn't Pennock's first wife - but his fourth. What's more, Pennock was still married to a woman in California. We helped put Butler in touch with investigators, who confirmed her claims, and issued felony bigamy warrants for Pennock's arrest.

Pennock's whereabouts are unknown - but his information has been entered into NCIC, a national criminal database, so that he can be served with felony warrants when authorities are able to locate him.
