WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) - The Wrightsville Beach Board of Alderman will meet Thursday to discuss next steps in implementing the recently passed smoking ban referendum.
According to a memo from interim Town Manager Tony Wilson, the town hopes to have street end signs in place by March 1.
In addition to the signs, the town plans on contacting UNCW about the possibility of producing a psa that would play on NHCTV.
The Town will also look at adding additional ambassadors to educate beach visitors, along with placing a banner touting Wrightsville Beach as a smoke free beach strand.
