Showers, once again will be in the forecast, as the same pesky trough stays close enough to the coast hat showers will be possible at any given time – mainly along the coast.
Inland locations (Whiteville, E-Town) will have drier air – lower dew points – and more sunny conditions.
As the front continues to slowly stumble to the south, we will see some peeks of clearer and more sunny conditions progress toward the beaches by the afternoon. High temperatures will be cooler than normal, into the low 80s.
Coastal locations will continue to see some shower chances, perhaps some heavy shower chances for Friday into Saturday as the trough retrogrades to the north.
Sometime Saturday it will scour out, and warmer and more typical summer weather will return to eastern NC.
